The day this changes
The calendar says 30 Sep 2027, so the renewal feels safely months away. The actual latest-notice date under a 90-day rule is 2 Jul 2027.
Last year's amendment may have moved the notice period. The person who owned the decision remembers a different rule and nobody has checked the source.
A reminder email fails. The calendar entry still exists, but nobody sees that delivery was rejected or that a new owner is needed.
The term end, latest-notice date and internal preparation reminders are separate values. The calendar-day subtraction is shown in full before you confirm it.
A named owner is accountable for the renewal decision. Internal reminders tell them to review the confirmed terms; they do not notify the counterparty.

When an amendment changes 60 days to 90 days, pending reminders under the old rule are superseded. If a reminder delivery fails, it is marked failed and can be reassigned. The deterministic schedule does not depend on fresh AI calls.
