Know the current fee before the renewal question lands.

Finance needs the current commercial terms, what renews when and which vendor subscriptions need a decision. Agreedio keeps the signed source, confirmed fee, amendment history and owner together. It is not accounting software and scheduled totals are not recognised revenue.

The day this changes

Before

Finance asks for the current monthly fee on the Alder Works retainer. One person opens the SOW, another remembers Amendment A1, and both numbers look plausible.

The vendor subscription list is in a spreadsheet. Fernhill Cloud, Larkspur Payroll and Bramble Books each have a different renewal owner and notice date.

A scheduled total is copied into a forecast without the assumptions that produced it. Nobody knows whether it came from 12 months, proration or tax.

After

The current fee reads USD 6,500, confirmed from Amendment A1 § 2. The original USD 6,000 value remains in history with its source.

Scheduled totals show the assumption: USD 72,000 becomes USD 75,000 over 12 months, with no proration, tax or early termination modelled. It is not recognised revenue.

Vendor subscriptions appear in the same register as customer agreements, with term ends, latest-notice dates and named owners for the next decision.

Each fee, cadence and effective date is a reviewed field, not a value typed into a spreadsheet without context. Manual entries are labelled, and missing source documents stay visible.

The latest-notice date is separate from the term end and tied to a named owner.

03

Amendments and actions explain totals.

A fee amendment changes the current value only after review. Scheduled totals are shown with their assumptions, such as USD 72,000 to USD 75,000 over 12 months, and should not be treated as recognised revenue.

Objections

What you will say before you try it.

Is this revenue recognition?
No. Agreedio can show current fees and scheduled totals under stated assumptions. It does not decide recognised revenue, accounting treatment, tax or proration.

We already have accounting software.
Keep it. Agreedio sits before the ledger: it helps confirm what the agreement says and who owns the renewal decision.

Do vendor subscriptions belong here?
Yes, when the job is agreement tracking. A vendor subscription still has a source, owner, term end, notice rule and renewal action.
