PlannedPlanned · Phase 2

Renewal briefs are planned as internal decision prep.

A Phase 2 renewal brief would collect the confirmed record, amendment history, open actions and unresolved fields before a person decides what to do. It would help Maya prepare for the Alder Works renewal decision, but it would not draft a legal notice or send anything to the counterparty.

Phase 2. An internal brief drawn from the confirmed baseline and open actions. It prepares a decision; it does not draft a notice or a renewal.

Why this is labelled the way it is

This is planned after Phase 1 shows a credible paid cohort with real renewal-review friction. Shipping requires source-backed briefs that show current terms, amendments, open actions, unknown coverage and no autonomous notices.

01Planned

The brief would start from confirmed terms.

When it ships, the brief would pull the current baseline, source references, owner and key dates. Suggested or manual facts would remain labelled so the reader can see what needs review.

Phase 2. An internal brief drawn from the confirmed baseline and open actions. It prepares a decision; it does not draft a notice or a renewal.

The planned brief cites the confirmed term end and latest-notice date.

02Planned

Amendments would be part of the decision context.

The Alder Works brief would include Amendment A1 changing the monthly fee to USD 6,500 and the notice period to 90 calendar days. Unchanged terms would keep their SOW-S1 source.

New terms need review. The prior confirmed schedule remains visible; do not assume it reflects this amendment.

The amendment diff would feed the planned renewal brief after confirmation.

03Planned

Open actions and unknowns would not be hidden.

The brief would show unresolved notice-method review, open internal actions and failed reminders. Unknown coverage would be called out rather than treated as no obligation.

Reminder text: “An agreement you own needs a renewal decision. Review the confirmed terms and next action in Agreedio. This is an internal reminder, not a notice to the counterparty.

Open and failed internal actions would remain visible beside the brief.

04Planned

Choices would stay inside the team.

A renewal brief would support a renew, review, end or undecided choice. It would not send a cancellation notice, negotiate a new price or draft a change-order instrument.

How it works

How this would work.

Planned for Phase 2. The steps below describe the intended behaviour; they become a promise only when the feature ships and this label changes.
  1. 01

Confirm the record and amendment history

The planned brief would depend on reviewed sources, not unconfirmed extraction.

  2. 02

Collect open actions and unresolved fields

Unknowns, needs-review values and failed reminders would be listed as exceptions.

  3. 03

    Prepare an internal recommendation

The user would review current terms and add team context before deciding.

  4. 04

    Record the decision

The outcome would be saved to the agreement record with owner and date.

What it does not do.

  • It is planned Phase 2 work and would not be available until its gates pass.
  • It would not be legal advice or a legal renewal instrument.
  • It would not draft notices, change orders or new SOWs; those are Phase 3 candidates.
  • It would not contact the counterparty or automate a cancellation.
  • It would not turn unknown terms into zero risk or zero value.
  • It would keep currencies and fee types separate rather than claiming revenue recognition.
