Users select files explicitly.

A picker imports chosen files or folders under least-privilege access. Contract text cannot nominate a destination or authorise a connector action.

Spreadsheet columns keep their meaning; imported dates are never auto-confirmed. Duplicates are reviewed, not merged silently.

Selected external files enter the same review queue as other imports.

Imported sources preserve provenance.

The product records external item IDs, version details and the original location, while explaining whether Agreedio stores a copy or link. The imported record still needs review.
