PlannedPlanned · Phase 2

One document connector may ship after upload friction is proven.

Phase 2 may add one document-source connector, Google Drive or SharePoint/OneDrive, if retained customers show that manual upload blocks self-service use. The connector would import selected files for review, not monitor every folder or trust external permissions without checks.

Phase 2. One connector, chosen from measured demand: Google Drive or Microsoft 365, not both by default. Files are imported for review; nothing is confirmed automatically.

Why this is labelled the way it is

This is planned only if retained-user stack data and measured upload friction justify one connector. Shipping requires tested install, selection, revoke, retry, access and reconciliation behaviour.

01Planned

The source would be chosen from retained-user demand.

Agreedio would not ship both Drive and Microsoft by default. The first connector would come from retained customer stack data and measured upload friction.

Phase 2. One connector, chosen from measured demand: Google Drive or Microsoft 365, not both by default. Files are imported for review; nothing is confirmed automatically.

The planned connector screen shows one selected source, not a marketplace of promises.

02Planned

Users would select files explicitly.

A picker would import chosen files or folders under least-privilege access. Contract text could not nominate a destination or authorise a connector action.

Phase 2. Spreadsheet columns keep their meaning; imported dates are never auto-confirmed. Duplicates are reviewed, not merged silently.

Selected external files would enter the same planned review queue as other imports.

03Planned

Imported sources would preserve provenance.

The product would record external item IDs, version details and the original location, while explaining whether Agreedio stores a copy or link. The imported record still needs review.

04Planned

Revoke and access changes would be tested.

A supported connector would need install, selection, revoke, disconnect, retry and access-reconciliation behaviour before it is listed as supported.

How it works

How this would work.

Planned for Phase 2. The steps below describe the intended behaviour; they become a promise only when the feature ships and this label changes.
  1. 01

    Connect the selected source

An authorised admin would approve the minimum scopes for the chosen provider.

  2. 02

    Pick files for import

Users would choose the exact sources to copy into the Agreedio review flow.

  3. 03

    Review candidates and failures

Imported files would keep processing, permission and retry states visible.

  4. 04

    Revoke or disconnect safely

Future reads and writes would stop, with records and retention handled under documented policy.

What it does not do.

  • It is planned Phase 2 work and would ship only if retained users show upload friction.
  • It would be one selected document source, not both Drive and Microsoft by default.
  • It would not recursively ingest a whole drive, inbox or tenant.
  • It would not make external and internal permissions magically identical.
  • It would not write tracked-change documents back to a document system in Phase 2.
  • It would not include HubSpot, CRM sync or e-signature.
