The words the product uses, and the ones it does not.

Plain definitions for the terms on this site, with a note where Agreedio uses a word more narrowly than common usage.

Action queue: The in-product list of owner tasks, reminders and recovery items tied back to agreement records.
Active agreement: A non-archived agreement that counts against the plan limit because it is awaiting execution or active.
Agreement register: A structured list of agreements that keeps current terms, sources, owners and actions together for review.
AI allowance: The bounded amount of successful AI work included in a plan, separate from deterministic reminders.
Amendment: A later source that may change selected terms of an agreement after review and confirmation.
Assisted activation: An activation completed with live setup help, custom file work or staff data entry, tracked separately from self-service.
Baseline: A reviewed state of an agreement at a point in time, such as B1 before an amendment and B2 after it.
Confirmed: A record state showing an authorised person accepted a value against a stated source and version.
Counterparty: The other organisation or person connected to an agreement, labelled by relationship rather than assumed workflow.
Date rule: A reviewed rule that turns a source date and convention into a monitored date, such as R1 or R2.
Delivery failure: A visible state showing an internal reminder was not confirmed as delivered and needs recovery.
Evergreen / auto-renewal: A renewal structure where the agreement continues automatically unless a party takes a required step.
Governing source: The source document or version a reviewed record uses for a current field, rather than the newest upload.
Internal reminder: A message or action for your own team before a date; it is not notice to the counterparty.
Latest notice date: The last day on which notice can be given under the confirmed rule; not the term end.
Manual entry: A value entered by a person rather than extracted from a supported source, useful but not AI-verified.
Missing source: A state showing that a needed document, schedule or clause is absent, so the record should not pretend certainty.
Needs review: A record state for a field where the source exists but the interpretation or consequence is not settled.
Notice period: The amount of time a source requires before a notice date, kept separate from service method and receipt rules.
Owner: The named internal person accountable for an agreement or action, separate from signatory or counterparty contact.
Service end / read-only export grace: The paid-through time and any export-only grace after it, with monitoring off once service ends.
Source excerpt: The quoted text from a selected source that supports a proposed or confirmed field in the record.
Suggested: A proposed value from AI extraction or entry that still needs review before it can drive monitoring.
Supersession: The act of replacing an earlier confirmed field or rule with a later confirmed source while keeping history.
Term end: The date the current term ends or renews, which is separate from the latest notice date and reminders.
