Counterparty
The other organisation or person connected to an agreement, labelled by relationship rather than assumed workflow.
A counterparty is the other side of an agreement. In the sample, Alder Works is the counterparty for Northline Studio's design retainer, while Fernhill Cloud and Larkspur Payroll are vendor counterparties in the register.
The label can help a team filter customer, vendor or other relationships, but it does not by itself add procurement, CRM or accounting functionality.
