Notice period

The amount of time a source requires before a notice date, kept separate from service method and receipt rules.

A notice period is the amount of time stated in an agreement for giving notice before a term end or other date. It may be expressed in days, months, business days or another convention.

In the sample, SOW-S1 starts with 60 calendar days before term end. Amendment A1 changes that to 90 calendar days. Both are calendar-day examples and do not settle other wording.

In Agreedio

Agreedio uses a notice period only after its source, unit and convention have been reviewed; ambiguous wording can stay unresolved.
