Supersession

The act of replacing an earlier confirmed field or rule with a later confirmed source while keeping history.

Supersession means a later confirmed source or baseline replaces an earlier one for specified fields, rules or future actions. It does not mean the earlier record is deleted.

When Amendment A1 is confirmed, B2/R2 supersede affected B1/R1 fields and pending reminders. Already-sent reminders remain in history.

In Agreedio

Agreedio uses supersession to stop old pending actions from firing while preserving the reason they once existed.
